About Chronr
Chronr was originally written by Chris Miles to scratch an itch. Over time it evolved features and stability until one bright sunny day it was released as an open source web application. This means that, not only is Chronr built using open source technologies, the Chronr source code itself is open source.
Chronr is a web application and an event engine. Users can interact with events either via the website or via any third party apps (making use of the Chronr API). Users can also take the open source Chronr codebase and deploy it for their own use.
Chronr is built using TurboGears, an open source web framework for Python.
